Lidl has issued an urgent recall for a type of ready-made paella sold in stores over allergy fears.

This is because the ingredients are not labelled in English.
The implicated batch contains crustaceans, fish, milk, and molluscs which may make it unsafe for consumers who are allergic to or intolerant of crustaceans, fish, milk, or molluscs.
Yesterday we reported on how a number of popular products have been recalled from Dunnes Stores this month - with food safety experts issuing "serious illness" warnings.
These included the Dunnes Stores Semi Dried Cherry Tomatoes that are being recalled over "a potential risk to health" by long-term consumption of the pesticide chlorpyrifos.
Additionally, another alert was issued over specific batches of products containing shredded cabbages and carrots may cause "severe" illness.
This is due to the presence of Listeria monocytogenes, a bacteria that can cause mild flu-like symptoms, gastrointestinal symptoms or even more severe conditions.
The details of the recalled products are:
- Butlers Coleslaw - pack size 250g - use by dates: 13, 14, and 15 March 2022
- Butlers Lite Coleslaw - pack size 250g - use by dates: 13, 14, and 15 March 2022
- Butlers Egg Mayonaise - pack size 350g - use by dates: 12, 13 and 14 March 2022
