Lidl is selling an Oodie dupe that is 80% cheaper at just £12.99

Lidl is helping shoppers keep warm for less by selling an affordable item that is similar to one of this year's most coveted items - the Oodie.

The original oversized hoodie has always been a bestseller, but it has seen a significant rise in popularity over the past year as many of us look for ways to keep warm amidst the cost of living crisis.

With soaring energy bills continuing to remain a concern this year, the thought of wearing an oversized hoodie or blanket to keep warm might sound appealing to quite a lot of us.

However, as appealing as the cosy and snuggly Australian branded wearable blanket is, the rather large price tag that it comes with may be enough to make you pause your purchase at the moment.

Luckily, Lidl is officially selling its very own Oodie 'dupe' in stores right now for shoppers who are looking to get their hands on one, but at a fraction of the cost.

Priced at just £12.99, the budget supermarket chain's Unisex Plush Jumper is the perfect alternative for anyone who finds that the Oodie is just a little bit out of their price range

Available in a variety of colours and sizes, Lidl's cosy looking jumper also boasts a few of the similar features as the classic Oodie, such as the signature oversized style and kangaroo pocket to hold your phone or snacks.

The jumper is also lined with soft, fluffy teddy fleece material which has become known for keeping you warmer during the colder weather.

With similar oversized hoodies from the Oodie website costing up to around £64, Lidl's bargain jumper can save shoppers just over £50 - making it a whopping 82% saving.

Alongside the Unisex Plush Jumper, Lidl has also launched a full range of cosy clothing that includes the Esmara Plush Poncho (£9.99), Esmara Ladies Onesie (£14.99) and the Pepperts Kids Onesie (£7.99.)

Lidl's new £12.99 Unisex Plush Jumper and Cosy Clothing range arrived in stores nationwide today while stocks last.
