Easter is now very nearly upon us and if you're looking for a sweet treat to bring to the table, you might want to take a trip to your local Lidl.
After sell out success last Easter, Lidl has announced the return of their famous Deluxe Hot Cross Bun Ice Cream - a delicious dairy treat that is infused with the flavour of the iconic seasonal favourite.
Last year, the tasty tubs drove sweet-toothed shoppers wild, with one fan branding the ice cream a 'game changer'. Others confirmed it really does taste just like hot cross buns and urged others to 'believe the hype'.
The luxury ice cream is made with British double cream and whole milk, swirled through with cinnamon sauce and juicy raisins. At just £1.99 per 480ml tub, it’s the ultimate Easter indulgence that won’t break the bank.
The Deluxe Hot Cross Bun Ice Cream, £1.99 is available in stores from Thursday, April 11.
The Hot Cross Bun Ice Cream follows hot on the heels of Lidl's hot cross bun flavoured wine.
According to experts, Lidl’s Moscatel Reserva de Familia, priced £6.99, is reminiscent of the season’s traditional spiced and sweet buns loaded with currants thanks to its lusciously rich complexity and tasting notes of raisin and fig.
Lidl also recently launched Lidl is launching Easter bunny shaped chicken nuggets and they're a bargain which went down a storm on social media.
