A Lidl customer could hardly believe his eyes when he noticed where someone had parked. For even though the car park was 'empty' the Vauxhall Astra was parked up blocking the zebra crossing.
Mike Mackin noticed the strange parking position as he shopped at the Old Walsall Road store in Hamstead on Sunday afternoon. He was so surprised he captured the it on camera.
Mike said he was getting a few items from the store when he saw the car blocking the zebra crossing. He told BirminghamLive that the unusual choice of parking spot was even more strange as the car park was 'quiet' and 'empty'.
His photograph shows the vehicle parked on a pathway to the zebra crossing, completely blocking the access. He went on to post the picture on social media.
He told BirminghamLive: "I was just stunned that someone would park there as there was lots of spaces available. It was on a Sunday so it it's empty and never ever full."
