Lidl has confirmed its opening hours for both the early May and the King’s Coronation Bank Holiday weekends. All of Lidl’s 960-plus stores will open as normal on the Saturday and Sunday of both weekends.
On both bank holiday Mondays, May 1 and 8, most stores across England and Wales will open between 8am and 8pm, while stores in Scotland will remain open as normal. Some store opening times may vary and customers are advised to check the store finder on Lidl’s website for details of their local Lidl.
For customers looking to get everything they need without battling the crowds, Lidl is predicting that the quietest time to shop will be before 11am and after 4pm, with the middle of the day usually seeing the highest footfall.
A spokesperson added: "Lidl customers hosting their own Coronation parties will be able to eat like Kings without paying the price, with classics available including Lidl’s Deluxe Hand Finished Victoria Cake (£2.19), Deluxe All Butter Scones (£1.39), Strawberry Conserve (£1.79) and a bottle of A. Carpentier Champagne Brut (£13.99)."
