Liberty Poole was left fearing for her life when she discovered a creepy crawling wriggling around a take out meal she had ordered – prompting a panicked call to medical professionals.
The 22-year-old former Love Island star frantically dialled 111 as she was concerned she would die of ‘bacterial poisoning’ after discovering a maggot in her meal.
The star was simultaneously in the bath when she made her stomach-churning discovery, and says she was worried she might get so sick she would die in the water.
Taking to Instagram Stories on Friday, the star shared a photo of the meal in question and told her fans and followers all about her ordeal.

She began: “So I'm a bit traumatised from last night.
"So imagine, I ordered a takeaway and there was a maggot in the takeaway and I don't think I'm going to get a delivery again. Honestly, it was disgusting.”
She continued her story, saying: “I ended up calling 111 because I happened to be in the bath and I thought that I might die from bacterial poisoning.

“So that might have been a bit dramatic, but at least it was 111 not 999, imagine. So always call 111 not 999 if you think there might be a problem.
"And that's what I did, I called them up saying there was a maggot in my food. Do I throw up or do I get bacterial poisoning?"
She added: "They reassured me that everything was ok which is great. Stress!
"So tonight, I'm going to live life to the full because I haven't died from bacterial poisoning.”
Last weekend, Liberty crashed out of Dancing On Ice after taking a tumble in the rink live on TV.
The star and her dance partner, Joe Johnson, were kicked out of the competition following a skate off – but the star has remained positive about her time on the show.
She said after being told her time on the show was over: "Even though we had that fall tonight, these things happen on ice.
"I've honestly enjoyed every second and I'm proud of myself because I pushed myself this week. I just want to thank everyone behind the scenes for always being there to support me."
She added: "I want to thank my mum as well for being in the audience every week. She's my rock."

The star has also claimed that featuring on the show has helped heal her heart following her explosive break-up with Jake Cornish last summer when they featured on Love Island – and quit the series hours ahead of the final as their romance sensationally collapsed under a cloud of suspicion and mistrust after footage appeared to show Jake manipulating Liberty.
She said: "I think on this you will get to see more of my fun side. I am a fun person and in Love Island you saw me in a partnership and what I was like in a relationship.
"This time you will see me as an individual having fun and learning a new skill so people will see a different side to me.”
