The young boy who starred opposite Jim Carrey in the comedy film Liar Liar is all grown up – and likely very unrecognisable to fans of the big screen smash.
Justin Cooper was just eight-years-old when he starred as Max Reede in the 1997 classic, which was released on March 18th that year, throwing him into the spotlight after appearances in a string of TV shows.
The film saw him play the son of 60-year-old Jim’s lawyer character Fletcher Reede, with Max inadvertently causing chaos when his birthday wish that his father would be unable to tell any lies for a full day comes true.
The big screen outing came after the child star, who is now 33, had appeared in a string of TV shows including Full House in 1993, The Boys Are Back in 1994, General Hospital in 1996 and Boy Meets World in 1997.
Following his scene stealing role in Liar Liar, the child actor went on to feature in number of other films and TV shows.
He appeared in and episode of The Magnificent Seven in 1998 – and played Dennis Mitchell in Dennis the Menace Strikes Again that same year.
He also appeared in The Adventures of Ragtime in 1998, had a role as Oscar Waide in the TV show Brother’s Keeper from 1998 until 1999 and played roles in the TV shows All About Us and The Practice in 2001 and 2003 respectively.
But since then, Justin has stepped away from the cameras and works as an executive producer on FoxSports.
And he also can regularly be heard on various radio shows including The Ben Maller Show and Clay Travis' Outkick the Coverage.
While his Twitter account shows that Justin is very active when it comes to following sport as he gives regular updates on American Football games and leagues.
Away from the memories of his boyish looks in the 1997 film that made him famous, Justin looks all grown up with short hair, glasses and a full beard.
Canadian acting legend Jim previously praised Justin for helping him create what he regarded as the best scene in Liar, Liar.
The comedy star said the pair improvised one scene where his character Fletcher has been up all night working on a last-minute case.
The busy dad is then shown goofing around with his on-screen son, pretending to hide a birthday present.
Jim credited Justin with helping him create the perfect dad-son on-screen moment.
He said in a past interview: “I like the scene on the morning of his birthday – it was really fun – because none of that was planned and we just kind of played together and came up with this thing where I swallowed, where I tell him I swallowed his package and it's inside my clothes.”
