Love Island viewers finally got the moment they were waiting for after they picked Liam to go on not one but two dates.
The public voted for Liam to go on dates with the two new bombshell contestants - Afia and Ekin-Su - with the vote finally giving him some good news. The Masters' student had previously been dumped by Gemma Owen in favour of Davide Sanclimenti.
Gemma's decision had put Liam at risk of leaving the show, but viewers changed his fortunes by giving him two dates. Liam admitted the situation has massively increased his confidence.

Speaking in the Beach Hut, he said: “It's a massive booster, definitely what I needed. I am buzzing now, I can’t wait to meet the girls.”
Not to disappoint, Liam proved flirty with both girls. His date with Afia came first and the pair seemed to hit it off.
Complimenting the bombshell, Liam said: “I like your vibe, you’re just a laugh, a bubbly, outgoing girl and that’s exactly what I want.”
Afia was eager to get a more direct opinion. She asked: “Would you say I am your type?”
Liam replied: “You’re definitely my type, 100%.”
However, the date did start awkwardly with Liam admitting he had no idea where Waterloo is. Afia quickly moved the conversation away from her home in London.
But on the second date Ekin-Su also seemed really into the 22-year-old. The flirting started immediately.
Ekin-Su said: “You’ve got really nice eyes, the colour of the sea, almost like you can kind of swim in it and get lost.” To which Liam replied: “Are you getting a bit lost?”
Ekin-Su answered: “Maybe I am.” She later added: “Your eyes are just hypnotising me, I love blue eyes.”
But some viewers were left a bit confused by Liam's flirting. The young stud spoke in a very quiet voice throughout both dates, which confused fans.
Taking to Twitter Melissa (@melissahamillx) said: "Liam was really speaking in lower case for both those dates #LoveIsland." While Jae (@Jae_Ellz) added: "Liam put some bass in your neck man lool."
