Liam Payne has shared the exact moment One Direction was formed back in 2010.
The singer, 26, took to Twitter to post a screenshot of a text message he sent to his dad with the exciting news on July 23rd exactly one decade ago.
Not having the slightest clue of where the news would take him back then, Liam texted his dad: "I'm in a boyband."
After sending the message at 8:09pm, Liam's life changed forever, and that of his bandmates' Niall Horan, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik - who quit the band back in 2015.
Sharing the screenshot of the text on Twitter with his 33.4 million followers, the father-of-one penned: "What a journey…"

He continued: "I had no idea what we were in for when I sent this text to my Dad ten years ago at this exact time the band was formed.
"Thanks to everyone that’s supported us over the years and thanks to the boys for sharing this with me #10YearsOfOneDirection."
The boys won the hearts of the nation when they merged together to become the next boy band on the X Factor 2010.

The former pop group became a worldwide sensation under the watchful eyes of Simon Cowell.
The ex-band celebrate their 10th anniversary today, and it's safe to say the boys are forever indebted to the ITV talent show for putting their name on the map.

To celebrate their 10-year milestone today, the band is set to launch a celebration website later today, complete with a special video made for their fans to honour the special milestone.
The website is set to have interactive playlists available for fans, as well as activations across digital platforms later this month.

Fans can expect to see the band's charting history in a timeline, from their very first audition all the way up to their peak - during which the boys scooped up a number of prestigious awards.
What's more, fans can expect to see an impressive archive of music videos, artwork, TV performances and behind-the-scenes clips.
