Liam Payne’s girlfriend Kate Cassidy has shared some previously unseen pictures of the late One Direction singer as she celebrated her 26th birthday.
Posting on Instagram, the influencer said she was “grateful for another year,” but acknowledged that the past one had been difficult.
Cassidy was left devastated when Payne fell 45ft to his death from a third floor hotel balcony in Argentina in October at the age of 31.
They dated for two years and she had been with him in Argentina just days before his death.
Among the snaps was one that showed them together at a wedding and another posing in front of Cinderella’s castle at Disneyland.
She captioned her post: “Thankful for another year, and reflecting on the beauty of 25—it’s a chapter that will always be apart of me. here’s to 26.”
Cassidy has been keeping her followers updated as she continues to navigate her grief.
Last week, she shared how she had broken down in tears at what she had discovered after finally going through boxes of belongings from her final weeks with him.
Among them was a yellow gown and white stilettos from a wedding they had attended together in August.
Overcome with emotion, she reflected on that night on TikTok, recalling how they had “danced the night away.”
She has also spoken about how she believes Payne is sending her messages as she keeps finding signs including the number sequence 444.
Angel numbers are repeating sequences of digits, normally in sets of three or four, and they are believed to hold spiritual guidance.
