Liam Payne showed off major art skills outside of his musical talents as he presented an oil painting that he completed of the late Queen on Instagram recently.
The 29-year-old singer unveiled the impressive portrait as he shared that it had taken him 50 hours to complete the painted image to his 24 million followers.
In the picture, the Queen is seen captured in the earlier years of her reign, as she was painted with dark brown hair, and wore the State Diadem diamond crown, originally made for her uncle King George IV in 1820.
Sharing the painting on Instagram Stories, Payne captioned the picture: “Unfinished oil canvas I painted of the Queen. This is 4.5 feet tall and took about 50 hours... RIP HRH”.
Payne’s painted tribute to the Queen comes three months after her death.
The late monarch died aged 96 on 8 September this year at her home at Balmoral Castle in Scotland. The Queen’s husband Prince Philip died aged 99 the previous year, in April.
Payne also paid tribute to the late Duke of Edinburgh as he captured him in a watercolour painting, which he shared shortly after the royal’s death.
In clip uploaded on Instagram, Payne held up a photo of Prince Philip, taken in the 1950s, which he had used as inspiration, next to his completed painting as he thanked the late Duke for his service.
Payne wrote on Instagram Stories at the time: “Rest in peace HRH Prince Philip. Small tribute to you, thank you for your service.”
The ex-One Direction star revealed to fans that the artwork also took hours to finish, like his most recent royal painting of the Queen.
Payne’s latest art unveiling comes after he made his red carpet debut with new girlfriend Kate Cassidy at the British Fashion Awards last week.
The Strip That Down singer has reportedly been dating the New Jersey native since October, following his engagement split from Texan model Maya Henry in April.
