Liam Payne has paid a touching tribute to the late Queen Elizabeth by creating a painting of the Monarch who died in September.
The hitmaker has taken to his Instagram in view of his 24.6 million followers to share his incredible artwork which he created out of oil paints.
Liam, 29, is a keen artist and has frequently paraded his skills for all to see across his social media channels and it appears his skills know no boundaries.
In view of his followers, Liam shared a Story post of his currently incomplete oil painting of the Queen who died aged 96 on September 8, 2022.
Alongside the painting, he penned: "Unfinished oil canvas I painted of the Queen. This is 4.5 feet tall and took about 50 hours... RIP HRH [sic]."
In the painting, the late Sovereign who reigned for over 70 years is seen wearing the State Diadem crown which was made in 1820 by Rundells.
The stunning crown is set with 1,333 diamonds which includes an eyewatering four-carat pale yellow brilliant in the centre of the cross and was designed for King George IV, the uncle of Queen Victoria.
Nowadays, the crown is often worn by Queen Regnants as well as Queen Consorts at the State Opening of Parliament.
In the unfinished painting, Her Majesty can be seen wearing a green dress while also wearing a white sash and a diamond necklace.
It appears that the painting of the Queen is taken from a snap of the new Monarch following her accession to the throne in February 1952, taken by Dorothy Wilding.
However, the Queen isn't the only Royal that Liam has painted over the years, with the former One Direction star also creating a tribute to the late Prince Philip, who died in April 2021.
The dad-of-one painted Prince Philip during his younger years while dressed in his Royal Navy uniform ahead of the Duke of Edinburgh's funeral.
Liam had explained to his followers that he had used a snap taken of the late Prince in 1950 as inspiration for his painting.
Captioning his upload, he wrote: "Rest in peace HRH Prince Philip. Small tribute to you, thank you for your service."
Ahead of the final reveal, he had uploaded several progress snaps of his painting including the initial sketches and the finished product before he painted with watercolours.
Her Majesty and Prince Philip have been interred together alongside her parents, King George VI and her mother, Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother in the King George VI Memorial Chapel at St George's Chapel, Windsor.
