Liam Payne breaks down in teaser clip from emotional new album

Liam Payne breaks down in tears in a new clip filmed during the making of his latest album.

The singer, 30, posted the emotional video on TikTok as he prepares to release new single from the album, Teardrops.

Captioning the heart-felt clip, former One Direction star Payne said: “There were definitely a lot of teardrops shed in making these records and for the first time you really get a picture of what it was like for me each day of making this record.

“This album literally is that whole last year for me. How I was feeling on those days is each record. It was a snapshot of that day.

“So you can even help someone through a tough time, help somebody celebrate something.

“That's really what I want to get across in this record and that's the best part I guess about my job.”

Last week, Payne shared another clip of his upcoming single - which is an emotional ballad - to Instagram, saying it was “born from many tears.”

Underneath the clip in the caption, he wrote: “A song born from many (tear emoji) some mine some not.”

Lyrics of the single include: “Teardrops are falling down your face again, cos I don't know how to love you and I am broken too.”

Payne is currently in a relationship with US model Kate Cassidy, who he's been dating since October 2022.

Last month, his ex Danielle Peazer announced she was expecting her first child with Dancing On Ice's Sonny Jay.

At around the same time, Payne debuted a dramatic new look.

Payne and Peazer split in 2013, three years before he started dating former X Factor judge Cheryl Tweedy, with whom he shares six-year-old son Bear.

At the end of last year, Payne was banned from driving after admitting a speeding offence.

The singer was reportedly travelling at 43mph in a 30mph zone on the A40 Westway flyover in Shepherd’s Bush, west London, in a Ford Ranger pick-up truck on February 24 2023.

The 30-year-old previously pleaded guilty to the offence and was banned from driving for six months when he was sentenced at Lavender Hill Magistrates’ Court on October 9.
