Liam Payne and James Argent lead celebs paying their respects to Tom Parker at funeral

Former One Direction singer Liam Payne, 28, lead the famous faces paying their respects to Tom Parker on Wednesday morning.

Reality TV star James 'Arg' Argent and Olympian Rebecca Adlington were also present as late star's coffin was driven through the picturesque Petts Wood in a horse drawn carriage.

The Wanted singer's funeral saw the singer's heartbroken fans line the high street to say farewell, as Tom's tearful wife Kelsey followed her beloved husband's hearse to say her final goodbye this morning.

Onlookers and fans were moved to tears as Tom's bandmates Max George, Jay McGuinness, Siva Kaneswaran and Nathan Sykes carried the coffin inside the church alongside two other male mourners.

Tom passed away on Wednesday March 30 aged 33 surrounded by loved ones and bandmates, following a two-year battle with stage 4 glioblastoma

Liam shed a tear as he left the service earlier today, after paying his respects at The Saint Francis of Assisi Parish Church in Petts Wood, south-east London.

The Strip That Down singer was one of the many star's to perform at Tom's fundraising concert last year, Stand Up To Cancer.

After learning about Tom's tragic passing last month, the former X Factor contestant took to Twitter to write: "I'm heartbroken to hear about Tom. He was so full of life and humour, and the memories I have of him with stay with me forever.

"Sending my thoughts out to his family and his brothers in The Wanted."

Former TOWIE star James, 34, cut a sombre figure as he walked into the church with his ex girlfriend Lydia Bright, while swimming Rebecca, 33, donned dark shades as she held on to her partner Andy Parsons.

Throughout the service, Tom's wife Kelsey paid tribute to her "soulmate" in a pre-recorded message which was played out to Saint Francis of Assisi Parish Church, with mourners heard crying as she said: "If love alone could have saved you, you would have lived forever".

The Wanted's Max , 33, also made a moving eulogy, telling Tom's loved ones he "will always be a brother to me and my bandmates" and "will always remember his laugh".

Tom, who died aged 33 from a rare brain tumour, was driven through the picturesque Petts Wood before being laid to rest surrounded by best friends and his fellow bandmates.

Wife Kelsey briefly left the church to watch her late husband's bandmates carry his coffin inside, while hundreds of fans burst into tears as they watched on at a distance

Prior to the boys walking with the coffin, a soft piano version of Celine Dion's hit single My Heart Will Go On played as the band approached, before the song switched to Champagne Supernova by Oasis.

Hundreds of fans lined the nearby streets, at Kelsey's request, as the dad-of-two made his final journey to the church ahead of being laid to rest.
