Liam Gallagher has expressed his concern for his estranged brother Noel after claiming that his sibling 'doesn’t seem himself'.
Oasis frontman Liam, 50, took to Twitter on Wednesday to ask his brother to 'reach out' after he suggested that he tried but failed to get in contact with Noel.
Addressing his older brother Noel, 56, on Twitter, Liam urged his estranged sibling to get in touch with him as he expressed his concern with his 3.5 million followers.
"Listen Noel I know you check my tweets. Call me. I’m actually concerned about you we all are you don’t seem yourself. Cmon big guy pick it up," Liam tweeted.
Liam’s tweet comes after Noel was recently about a potential Oasis reunion following the breakdown of his marriage to Sara MacDonald.
Noel and Sara's split was confirmed in January after 12 years of marriage.
The pair had met 22 years ago, and lifting the lid on his divorce from Sara, Noel recently admitted that it had been 'long' and 'drawn out' and was taking a toll on his mental health and his mood.
Following the news of their split, Liam reached out to his older brother Noel, telling die-hard Oasis fans on Twitter that he would be 'well up' for a reunion tour but only if his brother agreed to it.
Asked last week if he would be willing to put their differences aside for an Oasis reunion, Noel said: "He’s gonna have to call me. He’s going to have to get someone to call me because he’s been going on about it for the last f*** 10 years or whatever it is."
Speaking to Seattle’s 98.9 KPNW, Noel added: "He doesn’t want it and he knows that neither of us is particularly f***ing interested in it. I know he doesn’t want it, and I’m very comfortable in what I do.
“I couldn’t give a flying f*** one way or the other. But he keeps going on about it and I’m like, ‘Well, OK. Call us then. Let’s see what you’ve got to say."
Noel also finally revealed the sum that would make him 'properly consider' an Oasis reunion with his brother Liam.
The music star, who has gone on to have a career with band High Flying Birds, said if he was offered £8 million then he'd weigh up getting the 90s band back together.
Oasis split in 2009 after brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher engaged in a backstage brawl at the Rock en Seine festival in Paris.
In 2020, Liam posted on Twitter accusing Noel of turning down £100 million to join the band and re-form for a tour.
The Mirror has contacted Noel's representatives for further comment.
