Liam Gallagher has responded to fan claims that he could “mingle” with Jeremy Clarkson and the Beckhams in the Cotswolds.
Last week, it was claimed the singer, 52, and his fiancée Debbie Gwyther, 40, are eyeing up properties in the countryside to buy with the earnings from his upcoming Oasis reunion tour, which kicks off in July.
However, Gallagher has shut down The Sun‘s reports that he wants a remote home with its own land, high fences, and CCTV in the fashionable area.
The Wonderwall singer posted on X on Wednesday, “Not looking to buy high security manor house in Cotswolds,” and added jokingly: “More interested in high security wig wam in Norfolk.”
A fan replied teasingly: “You'll be mingling with the likes of the Beckhams and Jeremy Clarkson, Liam, and all those other celebrity folk.”
The rocker seemed unimpressed by the prospect, writing: “Leave it out.”

Another fan suggested: “Come Leicestershire, best countryside, and no one will know who you are.”
Gallagher replied: “I’m f***ing massive in Leicestershire.”
Former Top Gear host Clarkson owns a farm in the Cotswolds called the Diddly Squat Farm, which appears on his Amazon Prime series, Clarkson’s Farm.
The Grand Tour star also opened a pub, The Farmer’s Dog, in Oxfordshire last August.

Meanwhile, Victoria and David Beckham have a converted barn in Chipping Norton, bought for a reported £6.15 million in December 2016.
Many other celebrities own homes in the trendy area, including Ellen DeGeneres, Kate Moss, Lily Allen, Damien Hirst, Hugh Grant, and Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen.
Gallagher and film producer Gwyther are currently renting a country mansion in the Cotswolds for £19,000 a month, according to MailOnline.
They moved into the 11-bedroom Gloucestershire home, which was formerly owned by a baron, six months ago.

The couple also have a large townhouse in north London and a villa near Cannes on the French Riviera.
Liam and Noel announced their Live ‘25 reunion tour last August, delighting fans as they answered decade-long pleas to put aside their differences.
The Don’t Look Back In Anger hitmakers will perform a number of gigs in the UK, Ireland, Australia, the US, and Mexico.
The siblings are apparently set to make £3 million a piece for each of the 33 gigs of their ‘Live 25 tour this summer, which is almost £100 million each.
