Liam Gallagher has asked Liverpool supporters if they are 'still loving the game' after losing to Nottingham Forest.
The famous Manchester City fan and former Oasis frontman reacted to the result on social media, which saw his side extend the gap between themselves and Liverpool to 10 points after Pep Guardiola's side beat Brighton and Hove Albion later on in the afternoon. Jurgen Klopp's side had moved just seven behind the back-to-back champions after narrowly beating West Ham United while Man City weren't in action, but that momentum stalled at the City Ground.
Manchester United loanee Dean Henderson and former Liverpool centre-forward Taiwo Awoniyi were the Forest heroes at either end of the pitch, with the former pulling off seven saves for the second straight match to keep a clean sheet and the latter popping up at the other end to score the only goal of the game.

"How’s my LFC crew getting on still loving the game LG," Gallagher tweeted on Sunday evening. A minute before, at half-time of Tottenham Hotspur versus Newcastle United, he also tweeted: "Football crazy football mad where’s me wallet where’s me hat" and in the aftermath of full-time also added: "C’mon Newcastle if you got it flaunt it."
