Liam Gallagher makes drastic lifestyle change before Oasis reunion tour kicks off

Liam Gallagher has reportedly made a major lifestyle change before the Oasis reunion world tour kicks off.

The musician, 52, and his brother Noel, 57, sent fans into a frenzy in August when they announced they have put their differences aside and will go on tour this year.

It has now been claimed that the rocker is planning to quit drinking and focus on his fitness to ensure the Live ‘25 tour goes off without a hitch.

"Liam's just returned from a boozy holiday and now plans to be in lock-down for the foreseeable to focus on getting fit for the tour,” a source told The Sun.

"He is planning on being sober ahead of and on tour with Oasis.

"He's actually used cutting out booze to help him prepare and also to get through the shows before."

The insider added that Gallagher will still have a few beers while watching his beloved football team, Manchester City play.

The singer previously revealed he stopped drinking onstage after an erratic performance with Oasis at Wembley in 2000.

It appeared that Gallagher had a boozy time over the festive period, as he wrote on X on December 19: “I’m officially on the p**s Happy Christmas LG x.”

The Oasis reunion tour - with 41 shows - kicks off on July 4 at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium, followed by five nights at Manchester’s Heaton Park and eight at Wembley Stadium.

The Wonderwall hitmakers are set to perform a number of gigs in the UK, Ireland, Australia, the US and Mexico.

Demand for tickets was “unprecedented” and many fans balked at the eye-watering prices.

In September, the band announced that Richard Ashcroft, the former lead singer of The Verve, would be joining them as a special guest for their homeside and Ireland shows.

It’ll mark the first time Liam and Noel have played together since the band split in 2009 following a backstage row at the Rock en Seine festival in France.

Noel quit the rock group on August 28, 2009, saying he “simply could not go on working with Liam a day longer”.

Fans had been pleading with the Britpop group to reunite since their fallout.
