Liam Gallagher believes Liverpool were 'lucky' to walk away from their meeting with Manchester City with a share of the spoils.
The two sides played out a pulsating 2-2 draw for the second time this season, with Diogo Jota and Sadio Mane on the scoresheet for the Reds on this occasion. Pep Guardiola's side had the chance to win the game late on through Riyad Mahrez, who chipped over the bar, and also saw a Raheem Sterling goal ruled out for offside.
It is a result that means it is still only one point separating the two sides at the top of the Premier League table, in a race for top spot that looks certain to now go down to the final day of the campaign. One individual who believes Liverpool are fortunate to still be in with a shout of silverware is Gallagher, however, who took to Twitter after the full-time whistle to voice his frustration over the result.

Reacting to the draw at the Etihad, he posted a series of tweets on his personal Twitter account. His first post offered the two-word verdict of "Lucky pool", before the musician followed this up with the following words: "Played them of the park dirty *****."
He then repeated his new nickname for the Reds, as he declared: "Should have been 10-2 to city lucky pool FC."
It didn't take long for Liverpool supporters to hit back at such claims made by the 49-year-old, with three examples shown below.
@Fiander1980: "It's funny, our expected goals was higher than yours so how you work that out I'll never know. Too many beers mate."
@ClemmyKarl: "Keep copying a Liverpool band, and come back when you've got 6 champions leagues."
@AndrewC14629481: "You had 5 shots on target and the first was a deflection. Explain how you score 10?"
