Liam Gallagher will perform an outdoor gig in Cardiff Bay this September. The Oasis frontman is bringing his solo tour to the Welsh capital and tickets go on sale on Friday, May 27.
He will be supported by '90s indie legends The Charlatans during the alfresco performance at Alexandra Head on Thursday, September 15 . This week the Mancunian singer releases his third studio album, C'Mon You Know and his forthcoming tour includes two already sold-out Knebworth Park shows.
The Cardiff gig announcement comes a day before a brand new documentary is aired which follows Liam and his sons, Lennon and Gene, as they spend 48 hours in the Welsh countryside. Liam Gallagher 48 Hours at Rockfield, which will air on Sky on Tuesday, May 24, will give viewers unparalleled access to the world renowned rockstar, as he heads to the famous Rockfield Studios in Monmouthshire with Lennon and Gene. The new album follows the success of Liam’s previous studio albums As You Were (2017) and Why Me? Why Not (2019). C'Mon You Know is released on Friday, May 27 - the same day as he releases a new live album Down By The River Thames, the show was recorded on a barge for a special live-stream in December 2020.
On the same day, tickets will be released on general sale for the Cardiff Bay show. If you pre-order C'Mon You Know from the official store here by 3pm on Tuesday, May 24, you can get early access to tickets in the pre-sale which starts at 10am on Wednesday, May 25.
