Thiago Alcantara's wife has issued a "proud" update as her husband was hit with an injury scare.
The midfield maestro has been in fine form for Jurgen Klopp's side and provided a superb assist for Sadio Mane's opening goal in yesterday's game against Wolverhampton Wanderers. However, he was forced off just before half time after suffering a suspected achilles injury.
The Reds recovered to win 3 - 1 and Thiago took part in the post match lap of appreciation. He was accompanied by his wife, Julia Vigas, and two children, Siena and Gabriel.
