Gerrard has revealed that Lio was starstruck to meet one of his footballing heroes today. The 42-year-old shared a snap of his son with Thiago as he branded the midfield maestro a "pass master".
He captioned the post: "Dad can I have a photo with the pass master."
Thiago was in the starting XI as Jurgen Klopp's side took on Chelsea at Anfield. The 31-year-old played the full 90 minutes as the Red's disappointing Premier League season continued with a 0 - 0 stalemate.
