LFC Curtis Jones' girlfriend's one word verdict after match

Curtis Jones' girlfriend issued a tribute to the midfielder after his superb performance against Leicester.

Liverpool FC's winning streak continued last night as they eased to a 3-0 win at the King Power Stadium. Jones was at the centre of a slick attacking display as he scored two goals in a man of the match performance.

The 22-year-old has been key to the Reds' resurgent form since he returned to the side from injury. Jones has brought some much needed energy back to the midfield and has been key to solving a problem that had plagued Jurgen Klopp's side throughout an underwhelming season.

Jones spoke to Sky Sports after the game and described it as one of the best performances of his career so far. He said: "It was a game where I had the ball a lot and I scored two, so that's good. We got the three points and we keep going.

"I was off for 15 weeks, I had a hard time, so now I'm back and I'm in the team, scoring goals and helping the team. I'll just try to continue." Away from the pitch, Jones is in a happy relationship with his girlfriend, Saffie Khan.

The model regularly keeps her 45,500 Instagram followers posted with updates from their life and shared a snap as she watched Jones score his first goal last night. She captioned the post: "Proud."

Jones will aim to continue his rich vein of form on Saturday as the Reds host Aston Villa at Anfield and aim to finish off what had been a disappointing season in style.
