Veteran Hibs star Lewis Stevenson says the club's new group have to stand up in the face of adversity.
Manager Lee Johnson was left dismayed again on Tuesday night as Ross County inflicted a 2-0 defeat upon them at Easter Road, their fifth defeat in six Premiership matches. It leaves them with a big away match to come at Kilmarnock before the World Cup break and Stevenson's been in similar poor scenarios before during his time in green.
A host of players are new to Hibs but the left-back tips Johnson to find the right blend: “I have been in this situation a few times and you can’t panic. You need to step up and be a man, put on a performance and hopefully that can take you back up the table. We have a talented bunch of players and good athletes, I see them training every day but we need to do it on the pitch.

"From the defeats we’ve had I don’t think the performances have been that bad but against Ross County it was totally different – with and without the ball we were not good enough.
“We were set up properly and we know our jobs but when we get to games it’s individual errors and a lack of quality.
“I feel for the gaffer because there are only so many things he can do. The World Cup break isn’t coming at the right time for us because we want to win some games and pick up more points.”
