Two of Lewis Hamilton 's former trainers have backed up comments made by Angela Cullen praising the F1 star's winning mentality.
Hamilton parted ways with performance coach Cullen in March ahead of the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, with the Mercedes driver explaining that she was "off to follow her dreams" after seven years working together.
As she departed, the New Zealander lauded Hamilton for his elite-level personality behind the scenes and declared that he was the greatest of all-time.
"Its been such an honour and pleasure to stand alongside you," Cullen wrote on Instagram. "I'm so proud of you and everything you have achieved. Thank you for supporting me, believing in me and showing me the limitless potential we all have within us."
Now, two of Hamilton's ex-trainers have agreed with her. Clayton Green worked with the Briton back when he was racing for McLaren, and even 13 years ago he could see how Hamilton - currently searching for a record eighth title this year - was on another level.
"Working with Sir Lewis Hamilton back in 2010 taught me a lot about greatness," a grateful Green hailed via the Daily Express. "Lewis has always been dedicated to searching for ways to be better than yesterday. We can all benefit from being hungrier for self-improvement."

His and Cullen's shared verdict was then supported by Antti Vierula, who replaced Green in 2011 and is now Valtteri Bottas ' physio. Vierula explained to Grosvenor Sport: "I liked working with Lewis, it was a joy, he's a passionate guy on the track. I enjoyed working with him.
"He was brilliant in getting everything out of the car and engineers, he pushes people to get the best out of everyone. He would work hard getting answers from engineers, giving his opinion about what he thinks is right. He had a brilliant will to improve."
Vierula then declared: "I think Lewis can win an eighth title - for me he is the fastest guy if I can't say Bottas! But it depends on the car and its performance too. As a person, he definitely can. For me, it's his mindset that keeps him pushing for that eighth title, he loves racing and keeps going."
