Lewis Crocker ended 17 months of personal hurt by inflicting some pain of his own on Friday night.
The Belfast welterweight signalled his return to the ring with a devastating knockout defeat of Joel Julio at Glasgow Boxing Academy.
It was Crocker's first fight since November 2021, with a combination of bad luck and injury stalling his burgeoning career.

The finish came less than two minutes into the second round, Crocker detonating with a crushing left hook to the ribs of Julio which left the Colombian crumpled in a heap on the canvas.
It was an impressive comeback from Crocker who was also fighting for the first time under new trainer Billy Nelson.
The 26-year-old extended his record to 15-0 in the pro ranks, with nine of those wins coming by way of knockout.
Crocker hopes to return as early as next month, on the undercard of Michael Conlan's world title fight at Belfast's SSE Arena.
The welterweight told Belfast Live last week that he hopes to stay busy in 2023.
"Now I am back I want four or five fights this year, and some big ones in the second half of the year," he said.
"I could fight this weekend, May and possibly June. People probably think I'm mad but I am ripping to get back.
"I would love to get a title fight in Belfast. If Mick wins his world title, which I think he will, then that could tee up another massive night in Belfast."
