Lewis Capaldi delighted his American fans during one of his biggest tours yet as he takes to the stage in New York, belting out his iconic ballads.
But fans were given an extra special surprise when the Scottish singing legend brought the Jonas brothers on stage alongside him, singing the group's hit 'Lovebug' which was released back in 2008 from their album 'A Little Bit Longer.'
The three brothers from New Jersey were not on the line-up to be part of the show, but fans were overjoyed at the unlikely collaboration on stage as it sent waves of nostalgia through the crowd.
American pop-rock band the Jonas Brothers formed in 2005, Nick, Joe and Kevin Jonas, and gained popularity from their appearances on the Disney Channel television network becoming a household staple from around 2007.
Sharing the footage on Twitter, fan Will Flower quipped: "Went to Lewis Capaldi but Jonas Brothers came out and I’m now a 13 year old girl."#
Another fan at the gig wrote: "The freaking Jonas Brothers came out during Lewis Capaldi’s encore tonight!! Still freaking out."
Lewis Capaldi also shared a clip of the video from his management backstage adding: "I can't believe I am now a Jonas brother."
Lewis Capaldi is currently making his way across America performing to his Stateside fans after also recently being joined on stage by his close pal Niall Horan.
The Someone You Loved singer was joined by special guest Niall at his sold-out Atlanta show on Sunday night as he stopped his gig to snap a photo with him.
Taking to Instagram, Lewis uploaded a reel that captured the adorable moment and added a caption that read: "It’s time to BeReal."
In the footage, the One Direction star could be seen running to meet his friend and then posing so the star could snap a picture of his for his BeReal, before quickly exiting again.
Fans have raised concerns for the Scottish hitmaker after the release of his Netflix documentary where he candidly opens up on the escalating mental health battles he has had to endure along with his fame.
Lewis admitted he becomes overwhelmed on stage, with his anxiety and tourettes often being triggered by large crowds as his fame continues to grow.
