Lewis Capaldi stuns fans with comparison of first Scottish gig compared to most recent

Lewis Capaldi has shared a stunning video comparing his first ever gig in Scotland compared to his most recent.

The West Lothian star recently completed his sold-out UK tour last month to arenas full of adoring fans across the country, and is now ready to embark on the European leg of the tour.

The Someone You Loved singer most recently performed at The BRIT Awards last weekend, where host Mo Gilligan introduced him to the stage as Sam Capaldi.

In the TikTok video featuring his live performances, he said: "This will never feel normal" as he was filmed in Cowgate's Sneaky Pete's singing his hit single Bruises. The footage then panned to Lewis's most recent performance in Glasgow as the 26-year-old performed to the sell-out arena at Glasgow's OVO Hydro singing his songs back to him.

Commenting on the video, one fan noticed the change in tone from the singer and said: "A serious post from Lewis Capaldi?" To which the star replied: "It happened."

Another wrote: "a post from Mr Capaldi making a joke? I'm here for it." And Lewis quipped: "Hahaha I can do both".

This comes after Lewis has just announced his second Edinburgh show later this year, with McFly as the support act. Fans were left gutted when tickets completely sold out for his new outdoor show at The Royal Highland Showgrounds in September this year, but Lewis came to the rescue with a second date.

Tickets for the event will go on sale at 9am on Friday, February 17 here.

Tickets will be available via Ticketmaster here.
