Having just landed on the streaming platform on April 5, the singer and songwriter is already feeling the love from across the globe with celebrities and fans praising him for opening up the doors for some much needed discussions surrounding mental health and Tourettes.
Talking to the audience at his Glasgow screening, telling people he had therapy that day and encouraging them to go if they can, he added: "I know it sounds mental because you're all here to see a film about my life, but I just hate the idea of drawing attention to myself."
With a mic attached to him the entire time, the documentary follows the songwriters rise to fame and how he copes with the challenges of creating new music, hoping not to let anyone down with a goal of making his fans, family and himself "proud", as he puts it.
And it seems he has done just that with many taking to Twitter, and other platforms, to show their love for the singer including Glasgow-based Love Islander Laura Anderson who took to her stories to show him support writing " love you Lewis Capaldi."
Taking to Twitter one fan said: "Well done Lewis, tremendous viewing."
Another added: "Watching @LewisCapaldi 's How I'm feeling Now on Netflix and to see such a talented, funny and seeming genuine human suffer from the same imposter syndrome I have in the past is ruddy baffling and makes it feel I'm not alone. Believe in yourself peeps. Keep on keepin' on!"
"Having had mental health problems for many yrs.. your documentary will help millions of people going through similar struggles. Thankyou you are an inspiration" tweeted a third.
