Lewis Capaldi was left shaking his head after one fan made a comment about him following his appearance on the BBC on Hogmanay.
The Scots singer, 26, joined Edith Bowman to bring in the bells on Saturday night and his performance was watched by many at home. However, one fan later commented on one of the star's TikTok videos to say that he resembled another much-loved Scottish singer.
The fan penned: "Lewis, my dad saw you on TV and thought you were Susan Boyle."
And Lewis responded by sharing a video of himself shaking his head with the caption "great start to the new year".
He then wrote: "i dreamed a dream that ppl stopped telling me i looked like women in their 60s."
And many fans flocked to the comments.
One wrote: "To be fair I've never seen Lewis Capaldi and Susan Boyle in the same room....."
While one said: "Dreamed a dream. I am HOWLING hahahahah. Funniest man Alive."
Another added: "this made me laugh out loud x."
This is not the first time Lewis has been mistaken for a famous face, and last year one fan noticed a striking resemblance between him and the former Prime Minister Liz Truss.
When Liz Truss became the Prime Minister - albeit for seven weeks - Lewis couldn't resist responding to the comment.
The Someone You Loved singer replied after a fan wrote: "Congratulations @LewisCapaldi on becoming the next Prime minister #LizTruss," alongside an older photo of Truss from her campaigning days in the 1990s.
The West Lothian star penned in response: "Why do I look like so many female politicians."
Previously, the 'Someone You Loved' singer has also been compared to former chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel and even Nicola Sturgeon.
