The Brit Award winner, famous for tracks like Someone You Loved and Before You Go made a triumphant return to the charts last year with number 1 hit Forget Me, before he made another huge dent in the top 40 with follow up Pointless, which he performed on Strictly Come Dancing in the run up to Christmas.
Scottish star Lewis, who is an icon on social media, as well as being a music megastar, is about to embark on an arena tour, which will include a gig in Newcastle and, a day on from informing fans how they could get their hands on free tickets, Lewis grabbed plenty more attention on Saturday night when he took to Facebook to post a mobile number, writing: "call me +44 7862 126437."

When fans rang the number they were welcomed by a voicemail from Lewis, with him saying: "Hello, thanks for calling, it's Lewis, but it's absolutely 'pointless' calling me, I've got nothing else to say. Just make sure you clink on the link and download the song."
Once the call ended, fans then received a text of the download link to Pointless, with it adding that Lewis needed their help 'more than ever.'
Having made the call, fans returned to Lewis' Facebook post to declare it was a genius move, with one writing: "That is the best marketing I’ve ever come across" and a second responding: "The best marketing EVER!"
