Lewis Capaldi on parking row with Celtic hero Neil Lennon that resulted in angry note on his car

Lewis Capaldi has revealed Neil Lennon left an angry note on his car after parking in his car spot near where they both live in Glasgow's west end.

The superstar Before You Go singer revealed the hilarious situation during a radio interview after getting on the wrong side of the Celtic hero. The Scottish singer-songwriter called out the former Hoops gaffer on air - and luckily for Lewis, he spends much of his time in Cyprus managing club side Omonia Nicosia.

Another familiar name in former Rangers and current Hearts star Andy Halliday also lives nearby but it is the parking wars with Lennon that has resulted in a couple of letters left on his car after getting on his wrong side. He's not the only punter the 25-year-old has upset with his parking as he revealed all on the situation with the former Celtic gaffer and also another resident.

Speaking on Radio Clyde, he said: “It’s alright I live with a bunch of old people. I moved into an old folks home.

“No the people I live around aren’t really big fans of my music. I actually live near Mr Neil Lennon and Mr Andy Halliday.

“But Mr Neil Lennon, I parked in his space a couple of times and I got notes on my car door so if you’re listening Neil, I apologise but don’t leave notes on my car. Just ask me to move it and I’ll move it.

“Then I parked it in another space where I live and I got this woman, I don’t know if is a woman or a man I take that back, but if it’s the woman I think it is who lives in the house but they never put their flat number on it because they’re a coward - they basically said ‘you’re blocking the way’ blah blah blah blah, also I hope you never need an ambulance in a hurry'.

"I was like ‘what? This is a threat on my life’.”
