Lewis Capaldi offering 'keep warm' advice has fans in stitches as he shares Greggs Primark colab

With snow starting to fall in parts of Nottinghamshire, staying warm is at the top of most people's agenda. Singer Lewis Capaldi, who is heading to Nottingham's Motorpoint for a gig in January, may not be the person you'd expect to be handing out advice on staying toasty - but he took to Instagram with an 'hilarious' video and fans said it brightened their day.

Some 8,000 people reacted to the video, in which Capaldi dons the Gregg merch being stocked in Primark. Starting the video wearing a towel, he begins: "I'm going to do a 'get ready with me' but this is the holiday edition."

He continued: "First up, obviously, it's Christmastime, so you know what that means... have you got your Greggs jumper." Pointing out the sausage roll design on the sweater he goes on to say: "Next up, of course, what do you put on after your jumper and before your pants, your hat! You've got to keep warm in the cold". The Brit Award winner went on to showcase Greggs boxers and socks before saying: "You're ready to leave the house."

Fans soon took to the comments box to share their love for the star and his 'get ready' video. "I can watch him do this for hours," said one person, to which Primark, which shared the video, replied: "Too entertaining." Another added: "He is hilarious..." With others agreeing: "Made me giggle." And "You crack me up."

Others loved the Greggs clothing and brand. "Greggs is a staple of British culture," said one. Another added: "I need the jumper." And the comments continued: "Have never been a Gregg's fan until now." And "Funniest promotion ever. Love it." "What a legend he is," added another.

The Greggs Christmas jumper is currently being advertised on Primark's website at £17.00, with the 'sausage roll hooded throw' at £14, clogs at £9 and slippers £9. There's a whole range of branded clothes sporting the bakery's logo including socks at £8 for five pairs, PJs at £15 and two pack of trunks at £9. The pom pom beeanie hat Lewis wears in the video is £8.

One fan added: "I just love @lewiscapaldi for this more so now, a gentleman after my own heart with the greggs attire x." Primark has stores in Nottinghamshire including Long Row in Nottingham city centre, and Four Seasons Shopping Centre, Mansfield.
