Lewis Capaldi has taken fans on a hilarious tour around ASOS HQ after joking he has become the new creative director.
The West Lothian singing sensation said spending the day behind the scenes at the fashion giant offices in London made him feel like he was in The Devil Wears Prada. During the video, the Someone You Loved singer described himself as 'takes risks with their fashion choices' before also making a funny but rude dig at rival fast fashion site Boohoo.
The video began with him being led into the offices and given his pass as he said: "I have come into the office today and I was taken into the fashion cupboard."
Picking up a stylish pink dress he pointed at a cut-out section and remarked: "Is this the front or the back?!' before being told by the stylist that it was in fact the back. Upon realising his mistake, he said: "Oh yes I see because if it was the front your bangers would be right out!"
He then jokingly remarked of a chainmail top: "It's like sexy chainmail! You're going to war but you want to look good".
Speaking to the camera he said: "I'm someone who takes risks with their fashion choices and it has been well documented," before picking out some vinyl trousers and a fur coat as his favourites from the fashion cupboard. As he then headed to the photoshoot with the models, he quipped: "I feel like I'm in The Devil Wears Prada!"
Lewis then funnily explained of the shoot: "I just kind of had to take the models through my kind of process" and instructed one model to "pose like he was on a Hinge date but the girl hasn't arrived".
He added: "I want the clothes to jump off the body and off the page - sometimes I had to jump in front of the camera, let the models see a real master at work and show them what's what" before strutting in front of the camera.
The star then instructed a model to pose as though she'd just won a prize but that there was also a "sadness within her". He then joked at the end: "I wouldn't say I learnt anything as I say this is the sort of path I've been on for a while - you've either got it or you haven't!"
Not holding back, Lewis took aim at rival fast fashion brand: "Boohoo - well you will be f***ing crying!"
Fans were absolutely loving the behind the scenes video of the Bruises singer's trip around ASOS HQ and took to the comments. One wrote: "after you picked out those clothes i was really hoping to see you in that maroon skirt and fluffy coat…dang"
"Who is Lewis Capaldi the singer?? I only know him as the style icon," said another. A third penned: "HQHAHWHA THIS IS SO FUNNY! YOURE A SINGER, COMEDIAN AND A DESIGNER WHATEVER YOU WOULD CALL IT!! LOVE YOU"
This comes after the Scots singer was shown teaching a fan how to play his song on piano and the video went viral. The Forget Me singer was heading into King's Cross station in London to belt out some tunes on the piano when he discovered it was already occupied by a little girl.
Instead of waiting on her to finish, Lewis decided to introduce himself and teach her his new song, which is yet to be released. The sweet moment was captured on video and shared on social media by Capaldi, as fans absolutely loved seeing the star teach the youngster.
