Lewis Capaldi makes big hint he will perform at Leeds Festival 2022

As Leeds Festival 2022 approaches we know lots of rumours start about artists playing set secrets.

We know the vast majority of acts forming the Leeds Festival 2022 line up. The fun at Bramham Park, and sister event Reading Festival, will be headlined by Arctic Monkeys, Dave, Bring Me The Horizon, The 1975, Halsey and Megan The Stallion.

As well as the now-regular surprise appearance there’s a few vacant slots the booking team are looking to fill. This is following the cancellations from Jack Harlow and Måneskin with organisers insisting they are ‘working on some exciting replacements’.

Inevitably, the rumour mill goes into overdrive when there’s slots to be filled and secret set potential. Last week, we brought you news of former headliners The Libertines teasing a set.

Now, there’s a teaser doing the rounds online of Lewis Capaldi suggesting he might be making appearances at Leeds Fest and Reading Fest. This comes after an apparent Instagram exchange where someone asked the singer whether he had any new shows to announce.

The Someone You Loved singer replied: “Got two last minute UK shows coming to you very soon ma wee pal.” You can see the exchange below.

We'll do a little digging and see how legit this is. We'll also continue to bring you any other rumours ahead of Leeds Fest 2022.

Thousands are expected at Leeds Festival 2022 , which will be taking place between Friday, 26 August and Sunday, August 28.
