Lewis Capaldi has been forced to postpone a number of upcoming gigs due to ill health. The Scottish singer shared the news on Twitter on Monday.
The 26-year-old - who played Manchester in January as part of his 2023 tour - apologised to fans as he shared how he has been struggling his past few gigs.
Following persistent discomfort while singing on stage, the Pointless singer visited a specialist who advised him he needs to postpone his upcoming Zurich and Milan gigs as he has bronchitis.
"As lots of you know for the past few nights of tour I've really been struggling with my voice, last night in Stockholm I tried by best to sing through the show even with it feeling really uncomfortable because I was desperate not to let any of you down.
"I've just been to see a voice specialist in Sweden who's told me I've got Bronchitis and that I should be on vocal rest for at least 3 days to give me any chance of not damaging my voice and being able to continue touring," he wrote.
The heartbroken singer apologised to his fans in Zurich who were due to watch him perform on Tuesday and his Milan fans who were set top see the Hold Me While You Wait singer on Wednesday, saying he has already checked with the venues to find dates to come back and play the sold out shows, adding that he's been "buzzing for so long" to play them.
He announced the new date for Milan will be May 31, 2023, and Zurich will be June 28, 2023.
"All original tickets for the show will be valid, you don't need to do anything else. Hate letting you all down and this is the last thing I want to be writing.," he said.
The singer added he will be doing everything he can with rest and medication to be ready for his Barcelona concert and onwards.
One fan called Lolly wrote to the singer on Twitter saying: "Your health comes first always. You go above and beyond for us fans and you could never let us down. Rest up Lewis."

Erika said: "Nooooo I’m so sad, I was counting down the days till the show in Milan! But I really hope you’ll feel better soon and I can’t wait to see you in May!"
Another fan said: "i am devastated because i was honestly looking forward to see you in Milan but you're health comes first!! please rest and take care see you in may !"
Bas said: "Really bummed about Milan but hope you get better soon. See you in may Lewis."
