Lewis Capaldi leave fans in stitches with hilarious Harry Potter doppelgänger

Scottish singer Lewis Capaldi has shared yet another famous lookalike, which has left both Harry Potter and Capaldi fans in stitches.

The 26-year-old from West Lothian has been compared to the likes of Susan Boyle, Liz Truss and Angela Merkel, reports the Daily Record.

But now, Lewis has revealed that he has a doppelgänger in JK Rowling's wizarding world. Taking to TikTok, Lewis said: "This one time I was at an after party after being out one night and this random guy came up to me and said that I looked like Mad Eye Moody from Harry Potter."

Adding a photo into the video behind him, Lewis then said: "I kinda get it."

Fans flocked to the comments of Lewis' TikTok to tell the singer they could not 'unsee it' after he posted the video. One commented: "I cant unsee it now! But Madeye is a legend so thats a gid thing!"

Another added: "I’m sorry but you do look like him. I said that as soon as I watched the film about a week ago and I can’t unsee it I still love you tho Lewis."

And a third wrote: "Lewis, I can’t unsee it now. Next halloween costume?"

This isn't the first time Lewis has had a wild celebrity comparison as last year he was repeatedly told he was the spitting image of former Prime Minister Liz Truss.

When Truss was PM of the United Kingdom - for a whole seven weeks - an old photo of the politician cropped up on social media, as a Lewis Capaldi fan captioned the photo: "Congratulations @LewisCapaldi on becoming the next Prime minister #LizTruss."

Lewis penned in response: "Why do I look like so many female politicians."
