Lewis Capaldi is the proud owner of rare Copper Face Jacks Gold Card

Lewis Capaldi is the proud owner of the rare Copper Face Jacks Gold Card - and we can only say that we’re a little jealous.

The singer who deems himself as the “Scottish Beyonce” is set to play a sold out gig at Malahide Castle on Saturday, June 25.

So the question is will he be using his card to party on Harcourt Street?

For those who don’t know what the card is, it allows both you and a friend free entry into the iconic club.

Back in 2019 when Capaldi was the support act at five Picture This concerts, former 2FM DJ Eoghan McDermott tweeted: “@CopperFaceJacks Lads can we get Ryan and Lewis some gold cards stat. Skip the queue, Free entry AND bring a mate. Money can’t buy sh*t right there.”

Lewis replied: “F**king right a am sen, coppers after and that’s a fact x.”

The Before You Go singer quickly got a card and said: “Mate I don’t f**k about x” while posing for a picture with the card.

The singer-songwriter first started creating buzz at the start of 2017 with the release of his debut single, Bruises.

In May 2019, Capaldi released his debut album Divinely Uninspired To A Hellish Extent. It debuted at No.1 on the Official UK Albums Chart where it stayed for six consecutive weeks, becoming the biggest selling artist album of 2019.

Capaldi is set for several big performances in 2022 – including Malahide Castle.
