Lewis Capaldi left fans in stitches after he appeared on The Graham Norton Show on Friday night, however many have called for more details as he began to a story about himself and Fifty Shades of Grey actor Jamie Dornan but never got to finish it.
Joining Graham on the sofa alongside Jamie and Lewis was actress Sophie Okonedo, Derry Girls star Siobhán McSweeney and Happy Valley star James Norton.
After performing his brand new hit Pointless, Lewis joined the sofa to talk about his song and one of his comments left everyone screaming with laughter, but also scratching their heads.
He said: "That song Pointless was supposed to be my first single right, and I reached out to Jamie - handsome man guy as we can all agree?"
Pointing over to the opposite end of the sofa where Jamie was sitting, Lewis added: "But I've actually never met him before so it's actually weird to see you - I'm so used to seeing you in 50 shades of Grey! So it's weird seeing you here, without like a whip in your hand and me without my c*** in mine."
The audience erupted into laughter and it was just about time for the show to end, but fans took to Lewis' Instagram, where he shared the clip, to ask what the reason was he reached out to the actor.
One wrote: "Howling!! What was the actual story!!"
While one penned: "Tell us the rest of the story... why did you reach out to him?!"
Another said: "Wanted to know rest of story!"
While one wrote: "We need the full story, but get Jamie to star in one of your videos soon."
Another commented: "I wanted to hear the rest of this story! Pity they cut you off."
While others commented on how funny Lewis was.
One said: "I laughed so hard at this."
Another added: "Honestly when we were watching this we couldn’t stop laughing. Should be a comedian as well as a singer songwriter with much brilliance."
Hopefully Lewis tells the full story of the real reason he reached out to the Fifty Shades star.
