Lewis Capaldi has delighted workers at a chippy in North Shields after he popped in for his dinner on Friday night.
Staff at the eatery in north-east England were quick to let everyone know that the Scots singing sensation paid them a visit.
They posted a number of snaps on their Facebook page posing with the 'Pointless' chanter. Lewis can be seen wearing a hoodie and joggers as he poses with his arm around them.
It's understood he ordered a large haddock and chips, with some ice-cream for dessert at Waterfront North Shields.
Many fans were quick to comment, with one saying: "Love it!, can't blame him best fish and chips in the North East"
Another added: "Love him! He's been to the best fishy in the north east"
A third replied: "Did he order a battered mars bar?" While a fourth penned: "That's awesome! Congratulations! I'm so jealous love the chippy best evvvvver x"
"He’s got good taste xx," said a fifth.
Lewis is in the area ahead of his gig at the Utilita Arena in Newcastle tomorrow night, Saturday January 21. He then heads to Aberdeen on Monday, the Glasgow's OVO Hydro on Tuesday.
