Lewis Capaldi announces intimate Bristol gig - full details

Lewis Capaldi has announced an intimate Bristol gig to coincide with the release of his new album ‘Broken By Desire To Be Heavenly Sent’. The singer will talk about his new songs and perform acoustically during the exclusive concert.

With his documentary ‘Lewis Capaldi: How I’m Feeling Now’ being aired on Netflix and the release of his music video for his new track ‘Wish You the Best’, Lewis Capaldi has been making headlines. In partnership with independent record stores around the country, Lewis will be performing live shows and holding Q&As for fans lucky enough to get their hands on tickets.

These performances will take place between May 19 to 24 across the UK. The 26-year-old will be playing at Marble Factory near Temple Meads Station on May 24.

Lewis took to his Instagram to share the news with his fans. In the post, he said: “UK pals! am SO excited to announce my smallest shows since 2017!!!! going to be doing a Q&A about the new album and singing a few tunes acoustically at some really small venues during album release week!!!!! is all supporting local record stores, tickets will be around £20 and include a copy of the album supporting your local record store!!! it all goes on sale this Friday at 10AM at lewiscapaldi.com x”

Not only will fans get the opportunity to listen to songs from the album being sung acoustically, they will also get the opportunity to ask the singer some of their dying questions - something you don’t get to do at one of his huge arena shows.

The dates and locations for his intimate shows are as follows:

  • Friday 19th May - Kingston Pryzm, with Banquest Records
  • Saturday 20th May - Dundee Fat Sam’s, with Assai Records
  • Sunday 21st May- Glasgow SWG3, with Assai Records
  • Monday 22nd May - Nottingham The Level, with Rough Trade
  • Wednesday 24th May - Bristol Marble Factory, with Rough Trade

Tickets will go on sale this Friday at 10am on the Lewis Capaldi website, and only cost £20 - a bargain to see Lewis perform live. But they won’t last long so get yours while you can.
