Lewis Capaldi delighted fans when he and Niall Horan gave a surprise busking performance in Dublin on Friday.
The iconic duo popped up for a random session on the city's Grafton Street last night as ecstatic fans were treated to a number of hits, with the crowd growing during the performance.
Busker Jacob Koopman managed to keep his composure as the two chart toppers joined him for a number of songs, including Niall's own Slow Hands and Yellow by Coldplay.
Footage of Lewis and Niall has since gone viral on social media, with some fans devastated to have missed the show.
Niall can be seen playing the guitar while Lewis encourages him to belt out Slow Hands and dances along while the pair share a microphone. Busker Jacob also plays the guitar while the trio sing along to Lewis' hit song Before You Go.
The Irish Mirror reports that Niall, who is close pals with Scottish superstar Lewis said they had been having weekly catch-up drinks online during the pandemic, with a collaboration being teased on a number of occasions.
Among the onlookers was TV and radio personality Crossy, who captured a clip of the moment Niall belted out Slow Hands with the encouragement of his pal and Jacob.
Other fans couldn't contain their excitement, with one writing: "I'M ON GRAFTON STREET AND NIALL HORAN AND LEWIS CAPALDI ARE BUSKING THIS IS NOT A DRILL"
A second added: "Imagine walking on Grafton Street and suddenly you hear Niall Horan and Lewis Capaldi playing songs. You win at life."
While a third laughed: "As f***ing if Niall Horan and Lewis Capaldi were busking on Grafton Street in Dublin today?????? F**k off why do I live 3 hours away is this a joke??? I’m sobbing life isn’t fair."
Niall previously explained to FM104 how long he'd know the crooner, saying: "It started a couple of years ago when I first brought out my album (2017). I did a few shows and then I think it was March 2018 when I met Lewis for the first time."
He explained: "I had written to him on Instagram and told him I was a fan of what I'd seen so far and then (I asked him) if he'd like to come and play a few songs before me at a gig in Glasgow."
