Gary Neville has revealed that he always celebrates Liverpool losing after coming under-fire for his reaction to the Champions League final.
Neville posted an Instagram story in the immediate aftermath to Real Madrid’s 1-0 victory over Liverpool in Paris. Vinicius Junior scored the only goal of the game in the second-half.
The Brazilian fired home the winner when he connected with Fede Valverde’s low cross at the back post. Liverpool also found Real goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois in inspired form.

Following the full-time whistle at the Stade de France, Neville posted a video from a Manchester pub singing along to the song 'Sit Down' by the band James. Other punters in the pub also joined in the celebrations.
Neville also tweeted after the game, saying: “It's really normal to be happy tonight if you're a united fan! I'm f@@@@@g ecstatic!” However, the moves drew criticism from supporters.
But firing back at the anger on Sunday, Neville has explained how he always celebrated Liverpool defeats - even when his Manchester United side were dominating English football.
He started his piece by saying: “Morning everyone, how are we this morning?” Before cheekily adding: “Jubilant? [A] little bit.'”
The Sky Sports pundit then continued: “I love the messages that I've received this morning the most that say: 'What have you reduced yourself to?'
“No, no,' he goes on. 'Let me make this really clear: I've always celebrated Liverpool losing, when we [Manchester United] when we were good! Let alone when we're bad.”
