Larne can open up a six-point gap at the top of the league with victory at Ballymena United on Tuesday night but Leroy Millar has issued a word of warning for his teammates.
The midfielder knows better than most of the threat the Sky Blues can pose having spent almost a decade with his hometown club before his summer switch to Inver Park.
David Jeffrey's side showed their quality pushing Glentoran all the way on Friday evening before eventually falling short.

Millar knows Larne will need to at their best to pick up the points but played down the significance of a win in terms of the title race.
"It's still early days, you don't win league titles in February, we just have to dust ourselves down and go again," he told Larne TV.
"It's just another game for me to be honest.
"On their day Ballymena are capable of beating anybody, I know that more than anyone.
"We will have to go there and be at our very best and hopefully get a positive result."
Millar bagged his tenth league goal of an impressive debut season for the Invermen in Saturday's 2-1 win over second-placed Cliftonville.
"I'll take the goals whatever way they come," he said.
"The boys usually put them on a plate for me but it was a bit further out on Saturday.
"From the start I thought we were the only team in it.
"We maybe made hard work of it in the last five minutes or so when they were piling the pressure on, but the boys at the back stood tall and defended well."
Tuesday night's game kickstarts a tough run of fixtures for Ballymena as they bid to keep hold of seventh place.
David Jeffrey is hoping his side can take heart from the performance against Glentoran with Larne, Crusaders, Coleraine and Glentoran on the horizon.
"Our home run has been good this year, but this little run of games is going to be a challenge," he said.
"We've got Larne here then Crusaders so it is a tough schedule ahead, but we'll reflect on what was a very praise-worthy performance against Glentoran.
"I have to say how proud I am of the players.
"We were coming off the back of two results we were bitterly disappointed with ourselves.
"There wasn't an awful lot between the teams. The reality was we just couldn't put the ball in the back of the net."
