Leonardo DiCaprio is rumoured to be ‘getting to know’ Gigi Hadid, 27, despite the fact he normally never dates anyone over the age of 25

The 47-year-old, who has a reputation for never publicly dating a woman over 25, appears to have his sights set on Hadid, 27, after they were seen publicly for the first time on Monday.
In pictures obtained by MailOnline, the pair looked close as they attended a party hosted by his pals Richie Akiva and Darren Dzienciol, at Casa Cipriani in Soho.
The Oscar-winner sported a black short-sleeved shirt and matching New York Yankees baseball cap for the occasion, while Hadid donned a white crop-top and ripped baggy jeans.
In one of several shots, the Titanic star could be seen placing his hands on the model’s shoulders, while they were seen several times leaning over a table to whisper into each other’s ears.
A source close to the couple told Page Six that while they are now dating, they are still “taking it slow” and are hanging out both as a couple and in groups.
The insider added: “[DiCaprio] is not someone who is in-and-out of relationships. He doesn’t jump around hooking up. They are taking it slow.”
The photos comes after it was reported that DiCaprio is “getting to know” the supermodel, with multiple sources telling People magazine that the pair have been seen hanging out around NYC but insisted they’re not “dating” yet.
A second insider claimed: “Leo is definitely pursuing Gigi,” while another added, “They’ve been seen hanging out with groups of people.
“It’s only been a few weeks since the split. Since then, he’s been hanging out with friends and family.”
Hadid split from One Direction boybander Zayn Malik in October 2021, after dating on and off since 2015. The former couple welcomed a daughter, named Khai, in September 2020.
While last month, it was reported that DiCaprio and Camila Morrone split up after five years together, shortly after her 25th birthday on June 16.
The Revenant star and the model-turned-actress are believed to have “quietly” gone their separate ways earlier this summer after growing apart.
“Leo and Camila ended their relationship over the summer,” an insider told The Sun. “There are no bad feelings between them. It just came to a natural conclusion.”
