Leonard Fournette dodged a potentially fatal incident on Tuesday, revealing that his car caught fire while he was driving on the highway. Thankfully, he said he is OK.
The free agent running back shared the news by posting a video on his Instagram of his charred car parked on the side of the highway. The front of car is almost completely melted away and police officers can be seen in the background. It’s unclear where this happened or how the car caught fire at this time.
“Man it was one of those days today, but I would like thank God, my car caught on fire while I was driving, But I’am still blessed,” Fournette wrote on Instagram.
Fournette, 28, last played for the Buccaneers this past season but remains unsigned after the team released him in March. He tallied 668 yards and three touchdowns on 189 rush attempts during the 2022 season.
