Leona Maguire got the putter firing at Dromoland Castle to put herself nicely in contention after the first round of the KPMG Women's Irish Open.
Maguire, 27, is the tournament favourite and is two shots off the lead held by two pace-setters.
Lina Boqvist, who was one of the last finishers of the opening day, carded a seven under par 65 to equal the earlier efforts of Alexandra Swayne.

As expected, the Cavan woman was the focus of attention after jetting in from Seattle over the weekend.
But she got off to a slow start with a bogey on her first hole when she failed to find the green with her approach shot and could only chip three feet out of the rough with her third, leaving herself too tough a putt for par.
Maguire also bogeyed the fifth, but recovered superbly with three consecutive birdies from the sixth hole to get back under par, before adding three more over her final four holes.
In all, she made seven birdies in a round of 67 to position herself inside the top 10.
"It was a little scrappy in places, I didn't drive the ball as well as I would have liked but I putted really nicely," said the world number 18.
"The greens actually are rolling really well, considering the rain and everything and an afternoon team time.
"I just rolled it really well today and took advantage of the shorter holes, you really have to coming in.
"It was nice to finish off with three birdies on the last four and give myself some momentum coming into tomorrow.
"I'm feeling good. Shooting under par helps, and I'll do my very best this week."
Amateur hopeful Aideen Walsh, who hails from nearby Ennis and is a member at Dromoland, shot a one under par total, the same number posted as the in form Swede Linn Grant, who was seen as Maguire's main rival coming into this week.
