Leona Lewis glowing as she celebrates baby shower in gorgeous yellow minidress

Leona Lewis was glowing as she celebrated her baby shower.

The former X Factor winner, who is expecting her first baby, celebrated with close friends at family with a glam party at Hopefield Animal Sanctuary.

Animal lover Leona, 37, looked incredible as she cradled her baby bump in a flowing yellow and white frock.

The singer posed for snaps with friends and family, and even some of the animals from the sanctuary.

In a caption she said: "Baby Jauch Lewis', and 'Showered with love at my favorite place to be @hopefieldanimalsanctuary".

The Bleeding Love singer, who found fame on the 2006 series of the ITV talent show, is expecting her fist baby with husband Dennis Jauch later this year.

The pregnancy has been far from smooth sailing, with the mum to be saying she was "unable to leave the house" after becoming "severely ill" during her first trimester, which she described as "challenging".

Opening up about her health struggles on social media, she said: "Spent time in nature with the pups and the bump this weekend.

"I had a really challenging first trimester, I'll share more at some point for anyone who is going through the same.

"But I was severely ill and unable to leave the house. So promised myself when I could get out I would spend more time in nature. She's truly healing x."

The X Factor winner made the post while enjoying a weekend away after recovering from her illness.

She had previously spoken of wanting to adopt children because of her mother's experiences while growing up in a children's home.

The singer told Stella magazine: "I do want children, but Dennis and I have also talked about adopting.

'My mum grew up in a children's home. No one adopted her as a child, and I would very much like to adopt."
