Leon King Rangers exit talk addressed as he's set for major Liverpool Champions League chance

Giovanni van Bronckhorst says it's natural that Leon King is attracting interest - as he's set for one of the biggest nights of his career.

The teenage centre-back was thrown into the starting XI against Liverpool at Anfield in the Champions League last week and is set to feature against Jurgen Klopp's men again tonight. Van Bronckhorst's men need a result to keep Rangers' slim hopes of exiting Group A and getting into the last 16 alive, with transfer talk around King emerging pre-game.

Manchester United are reported to be monitoring him while Leeds United and Newcastle United are also keeping tabs. Van Bronckhorst hasn't heard anything concrete but insists any such rumours are no surprise to him, such has been the Scotland youth international's progress. He explained: "I haven't heard from any interest down south. When you are performing well in Scotland you will get interest.
