Leon King has issued a 'back stronger' Rangers message after being ruled out for a 'significant period of time'.
The young Light Blues defender suffered an injury to his ankle during the pre-season training camp in Germany on Monday and will now spend an extended time on the sidelines. The club say the stopper is now being looked after by the medical team at Ibrox and a further update will be issued to supporters down the line.
The Govan outfit suffered from defensive injuries last season with the likes of Connor Goldson and Ben Davies spending time on the sidelines. King was thrown into the deep end with Champions League experience against the likes of Liverpool and Napoli. He has taken to social media to thank everyone for the messages of support as he vowed to come back even better than before.
